ACORDE passed its EAR

We are happy to announce that ACORDE has passed the Experiment Acceptance Review (EAR). Now, we are ready to travel to the Esrange Space Centre ( rocket and balloon launch base located 200 km north of the Arctic Circle) for the Launch Campaign.

The Launch Campaign will be 30th of September - 10th of October 2016. ACORDE is now waiting for us in the experiment preparation area at Esrange. During the first days we will prepare it for the compatibility tests prior to the launch. Depending on the weather, the BEXUS (Balloon EXperiments for University Students) will be launched between 5th of October and 9th of October.

We would like also to thank all the support from our sponsors: Aula EspaZio, University of the Basque Country, CTA, Tecnalia, Aernnova, AMC Mecanocaucho and from the organizations. German Aerospace Center (DLR), the Swedish National Space Board (SNSB), the Center of Applied Space Technology and Microgravity (ZARM) and the European Space Agency (ESA).

Next news from Sweden.
